Send the lab a test sample from a man’s or woman’s pair of underwear, and this test will
reveal the presence of cells from more than the wearer's own cells.  The test is commonly
known as a Differential Lysis.

During a Differential Lysis exam, the female profile will be revealed (if present); a test is
performed to reveal the presence of cell matter from more than one person by then
eliminating all female cells.  If, after eliminating the female cells, there are additional other
cells present, you can be assured that cellular co-mingling of more than one person’s cells
did happen with relation to the undergarment tested.

You can also submit samples from sheets or other bedding; however, for these items you
will need to cut the appropriate area to a 4” X 4” sample for submission.

When submitting the sample, draw a circle around the specific area on the garment, then
put the garment in an unlined paper envelope.  It is important that the sample NOT be
sealed in any type of airtight and/or plastic container (no baggies).  It is recommended that
you keep the sample in the paper envelope frozen until the day you are ready to mail it to
the lab.  During this test, the clothing article will be damaged (holes punched and/or cuts
through the material).  This is known as a destructive test.  The article cannot be returned to
you.
You can also purchase a Sperm Determination Test.  This exam will extract DNA from the
clothing (or other article) sample you provide, as well as a buccal swab kit that you will
self-administer (the kit comes to you with two buccal swabs, one swab for each inside
cheek).  The two DNA profiles will either match (revealing the sperm on the panty is yours),
or, it will not match (revealing the DNA extraction from the panty IS NOT yours).

These tests are usually NOT court admissible because there is no chain of custody
established for the sample.  However, most reasonable people will admit guilt or blame
after being presented with positive results from these tests.  It is the admission of guilt
rather than the test results proper, that will aid you through the subsequent legal process.
